Content Definition Page

The following provides a brief overview of the types of content that can be submitted to DownsCity for publishing.

Rules for Content Publishing
Copyright laws must be complied with. Do NOT send other people's material for publishing through your site without written authorization to do so.
No original content submitted to Downscity for publishing will be returned. Please do not submit items that you will require back.
Whenever possible, include your submissions in electronic form. Acceptable formats include;

Plain Text Files
Any Microsoft or file types Formats (Office, Publisher, Front Page, Works, etc)
Already developed HTML or Web based documents

Pictures and graphics can be in a file .jpg, .bmp, or .gif OR we can scan them in for publishing.

All files should be sent on a 3.5 floppy in Dos/Windows format. NO Mac or Apple based files please.

When submitting - feel free to hand sketch out what you would like your pages to look like. Think in terms of 3 to 4 pages MAX with 2 to 3 pictures or graphics. Our goal is to make information easy to access or use.

All content MUST be applicable to and deliver value to the Down Syndrome commuity.

If you have a product or service to offer make sure to include;

A complete description of the product(s)
Pictures (if applicable)
Pricing information (if applicable)
'How To Order' steps/information

Remember - The key to a sites success is the value and currency of the information. Plan to keep your pages CURRENT and filled with valuable information. This will insure that your target users will come back often.
