Down Home Ranch
Down Home Ranch came about as a response of Jerry and Judy Horton to the 1984 birth of their daughter Kelly, who has Down syndrome. The Hortons realized that the rest of their lives would be spent in seeking a community for their daughter. The question became whether their work would be for Kelly alone, or would include others.
The ranch is located in Central Texas on a beautiful rolling ranch land. Summer camps and a training program provide activities and recreation for disabled youth and adults.
Pathfinder Village
Pathfinder Village, founded in 1980, is situated in the gentle, green rolling hills of Central New York. It brings Colonial Williamsburg to mind with its ten beautiful residential homes and community buildings. One of the homes is specifically designed for those whose medical conditions warrant closer supervision and special equipment for extra safety. All of the homes are staffed by caring, trained staff members.
Harmony Habitat Harmony Habitat is more than just a group home; it is a working farm.  Located on a 144-acre farm in Nelson County, Kentucky, we offer opportunities for all the program’s participants to learn about gardening, planting and tending crops, caring for farm animals, etc.  Perhaps we should be called a “group farm.”

We're looking for a few exceptional women.
The residents of Riverbrook are exceptional indeed. Not because of their developmental disabilities, but because of their will to succeed.  Here at Riverbrook in the Berkshires, we take that will, and we nurture it. With personal care, 24 hours a day. And endless activities, from skating to singing lessons. Jobs at the local inn to nights at the symphony.
The result is a group of women who are more accomplished and confident with each passing day.
If you know an exceptional woman who could benefit from all that Riverbrook has to offer, call for a brochure. Or better yet, come up for a visit.
